I assume a palm grip might work as well, but I thought it was worth mentioning. I play with a “claw” grip, which works well with this mouse. If you’re going to use the mouse with your palm instead of your fingers in a “claw” posture, I don’t believe it’ll be enjoyable, but that’s just my perspective. These sides don’t have any gripping substance, but it’s not like your hand is going to slide away or something. To me, the sides of the mouse resemble air vents. I even gave it a couple of hard squeezes with my grip, and the material didn’t move or pop out of place. Without paying a premium price, you can’t expect premium build quality.
